History Sam Khan began as a poet, writing his first lyrics at the tender age of 8 for a school homework piece. Inspired by Hip Hop in his early teens, particularly 2pac’s emotionally charged songs of pain and ambition, he began to structure his poems into verses, choruses and bridges, soon becoming a self taught songwriter.

Raised on Chalkhill Estate in Wembley, Sam Khan's humble background and lofty ambitions continue to be the driving force behind his inspirational life ethos ... to 'B Somebody'. Sam Khan is a 21 year old music artist hailing from North West London. He is a 7 Time MC Rap Champion at The Jump Off (The UK's biggest monthly Hip Hop festival) and a 2 Time UK Songwriting Contest Finalist. Completing his first EP in January 08' entitled 'Me, My Pen And I', he has since received airplay on radio stations including Kiss100 FM (DJ Manny Norte), Choice FM (Gammo Speng) and the BBC Asian Network (DJ Friction, DJ Limelight, DJ Kayper) His freestyles and remixes have been a massive hit on YouTube, with his version of Kanye West’s 'Heartless' and T.I 'Live your Life' both receiving over 100,000 hits in two short months.

Most recently Sam Khan caught the attention of pioneering Hip Hop DJ Semtex of 1xtra, who featured him on the official Semtex blog and playlisted his version of ‘’Giggs – Talkin the Hardest’’ on the 1xtra Hip Hop show shortly after. Currently building a large fan base on the gig circuit up and down the U.K, Sam K has wowed audiences at venues such as Hackney Empire, Loom Bar, The Borderline and Bar Rumba. With his debut single 'Down' ft Lucy Lawrence being officially released on iTunes and Amazon MP3, 2009 is a promising year for the UK music scenes rising star.
