Jay Sean hooks up with Indian National Football team in Qatar
Kicking off the New Year in style, international RnB/pop superstar Jay Sean flew to Qatar last week to headline the opening ceremony of the AFC Asian Cup 2011. The fifteenth Asian Cup is currently taking place in Qatar for the second time and is playing host to 16 national teams including South Korea, Australia, Japan and the United Arab Emirates.
While in Qatar the British star bumped into the Indian National team and commented:
It feels great to be a part of events like this, especially in an amazing place like Qatar. To be involved in the opening ceremony and in the theme song for the tournament is an honour. It was also nice to catch up with the Indian national team and I’ll be rooting for the boys!
Jay Sean is featured on the Official Asian Cup 2011 Theme song Yalla Asia.
