Jay Sean was chosen to close the Nasdaq bell on the first day of the new year and the Down singer couldn't have been more geeked about the opportunity. He got his name and face up on the jumbotron in Times Square announcing his appearance.

In addition to all the fun in New York, it appears that Jay Sean had quite an eventful New Year's. He partied it up in Vegas at the Bellagio and apparently blacked out by the end of the night.

Aside from all the party Jay got into at the end of 2010, he actually did put in some work promoting his new album Freeze Time, which is slated to drop in February. He made an appearance on the Young Money BET 106 & Party New Year's Eve special and also put in a performance for Bravo's Watch What Happens Live New Year's eve special.
