Having made a significant mark on the South Asian music industry globally with the launch of breakthrough artist Imran Khan, No Limit Productionz are poised to present a number of incredible and unique artists from the camp this year. Ash Kavia of NLP and Saif Rahman have launched SoundBox Records, a new creative recording platform for rising stars, with a vision to build a global platform representing singers across the South Asian market.

The first instalment is mainstream artist Jaya, the new signing to No Limit Productionz courtesy of UBC Global entertainment. The track is also introducing, Michigan native and future star, Mickey Singh on this remix in conjunction with Remember The Name (USA).

Soundbox are launching the Saif Remix of Jaya’s single Outta Control as part of a new Urb-Asian sub-genre of music they’ll be releasing. 

Jaya launched with a bang in 2010 with her debut hooky single DJ Do It Again and toured with N-Dubz, Tinie Tempah, Mz Bratt, Esmee Denters and Peter Andre. Hotly awaiting the release of her second single took a while, but she’s back with new music and a more focused approach to her sound. She explains, 2010 was a learning experience for me, we released a record and me and my management team felt like we wanted to spend time behind the scenes getting the sound and the direction of the project right before releasing the next single, plus we were having creative differences with the label which took a long time to resolve, but now I’m back and I’m happier with everything creatively.

The single sees a mainstream production style sans traditional South Asian musical instrumentation, but reflects a sound that today’s young Asian audiences can associate with. Adding to that, tri-lingual Mickey Singh’s inimitable dulcet tones on the remix reveal just a facet of what’s to come as he sings in Hindi, Panjabi and English.

The original version of the new single Outta Control featuring Young Simmons (Jojo), son of Hip Hop royalty Rev Run, plus top 5 selling artist Wretch 32 has been co-written by Jaya and British producer Anthony Marshall, who has penned hits for artists including Britney Spears, JLS, Craig David, Steven Marley, K-Ci & JoJo,
