Singer, songwriter and actress Karen David is hypnotizing the nation. Her latest single Hypnotize, which features Bollywood rapper IshQ Bector and Mumbai playback singer Sonu Kakkar, remained at number one on Sunrise Radio's Official People's Network Chart for a second week on Sunday (6th June).

‘Hypnotize’ has also shot up an incredible 14 places to number 12 on the BBC Asian Network’s Official Asian Download Chart this week, making it one of the highest climbers. The chart is compiled using digital sales data from The Official Charts Company.

The video has surpassed 30,000 hits on YouTube.

Karen says: “I’m so happy that people are loving ‘Hypnotize’! I’ve had so much fun making this single, the remixes and the video and the response has been very rewarding. A big thank you to all my fans who’ve bought and supported the single.”

Karen has been busy as ever in recent weeks, juggling her acting and singing careers. After wrapping up filming the sixth series of hit BBC One drama ‘Waterloo Road’, she’s begun filming another BBC series, ‘Game Over’, produced by Graham Norton’s So TV. She also hosted and performed at the Miss Asian Beauty Queen 2010 pageant at London’s O2.
