Sham Ds latest track, Pretty Lady featuring Manifest, has been written and produced by the man himself, with the aid of Ivan and Katy Anchant. Turning away from the expected ‘desi-urban: hip hop like’ style of production, Pretty Lady is more Dance and Techno.

The intro consists of a catchy hook, followed by the first verse. It is immediate that the vibe of the song is not your standard ‘guy likes girl’ scenario; the lyrics suggest that rather than keeping an eye out for a lady with good looks, there’s much more to being a Pretty Lady; character. This vibe is continued throughout the song, and is a refreshing change to the cheesy and unrealistic lyrical content found in other songs of this type! Bearing this in mind, the production is still up-beat and verges on the side of contemporary rather than being something unheard. Manifest is featured on a verse, which brings the track together nicely and adds diversity to the general feel.
