Born in the south east section of the capital, Prem Matharu Stax P was raised by his parents and three older sisters in woolwich. From a early age Prem showed signs of his love for music. Performing with his crew in primary school and college etc.

My dad always said to me do music or play football thats what you was born to do. Life was tough for his family. Loosing there house in 1987 resulted in them moving in to a council estate, Prem was one years old. He went down the wrong path but always stayed head strong. His brothers in law Harry & Prab had a huge influence on his life and directed him the correct way. A friend of his from school BAMSTA was setting up a radio station called UFLX. It was there Prem realised he had knack for writing rhymes. College introduced him to the production side of the industry.

He then set up his home studio and started making beats. The MySpace days. Life was going well he found a job in retail and was doing music alongside. But then life truly hit him the face. Sadly 2 years ago his father passed away from prostate cancer. Was the worst time of my life, but i knew i had to man up and look after my mum, Thats what kept me going. Prem released a couple clips on youtube working along side the UFLX team and caught a little hype in his area. He emailed the clips to Rishi Rich.

Rishi was feeling his whole vibe and invited him down to the studio. The rest is history. The name of the track is Who's photo? Yeh tasveer kiske hai?
