Canadian based pop group, The Bilz and Kashif, who are known for fusing Bhangra music with Urban/Pop and electro have been breaking barriers internationally since they stepped onto the music scene. Their latest radio release, Single, has officially been added on rotation in Holland on FunX Radio, a Top 40 urban station in Amsterdam. The record started in the new music charts, and quickly jumped into the Top 30 mainstream hits for four weeks straight, sharing the spotlight with Jay Sean, Jason Derulo and Taio Cruz.

After the success of their last two smash hits, Single and On The Dancefloor, The Bilz & Kashif are ready to release new tracks from their hit album Breaking Barriers. Their 3rd video, for the song Tera Nasha,has been chosen to pre-screen exclusively at North America's longest running South Asian film festival, FILMI. FILMI will be the first to premiere this provocative love story driven video for the elite filmmakers. Vicious of The Bilz says, This is the first time we’re pre-screening a video before its official release date. With all the time spent on creating a seductive video like this, we thought it be new way of portraying our creativity to filmmakers in North America and also have all the fans rush to get a sneak peak!

All of the media hits and public buzz surrounding Breaking Barriers brought The Bilz and Kashifs work to the attention of the infamous Deepak Chopra. The spiritual guru was so impressed buy the inspirational message of The Bilz & Kashif’s One Voice that he re-tweeted the video to his followers. Kashif says We were touched by the fact Deepak Chopra noticed what we were trying to promote. I felt proud as an artist and group that our job to educate people by music was achieved even though some people chose to desensitize themselves.

The Bilz & Kashif have been busy promoting their new album and collaborating on various projects. During the shooting of Single, Kashif was approached by LA based group, Beautiful Musique to write a hook on their 2nd single Changing Lanes. Kashif turned the single to an instant club banger and Beautiful Musique flew down to Montreal to finalize the track and shoot the video. The video is planned to release mid-November premiering on Much Music followed by MTV and Musique Plus.
