We first heard this dude on BBC Asian Network and Club Asia. We first saw this dude alongside producer Young Archie on his debut project, the Young Archie Assignment, on a few tracks including Nachna and Come Closer. And now, for the first time, we truly get to know this dude on a more personal level, as an individual music artist.

Introducing Nock: the talented, scouse rapper from the Young Archie Assignment, presenting himself to the big, bad world as a soloist. Yes, a very brave step for such a young man, but not so daunting for a guy so lyrically blessed.

Flat Notes is the debut mixtape from the talented 22 year old, advertising his ingenious rap-writing skills over an array of familiar beats new and old, including the likes of Twister’s Overnight Celebrity and Nicki Minaj’s Moment 4 Life. Available to music lovers everywhere as a free download, Nock says about his debut collection,

’Flat Notes’ is a reflection of the thoughts floating around in my mind, some based on real life situations, others on fiction. It’s upto the listener to decipher which is which. All the tracks were written, recorded and mixed in the solitude of my flat, hence the name!

There’s a clever right name right there if we ever did see one, and if you listen to the music, there are a lot of clever bars in there too; all showing us this young man’s dedication, passion, commitment and love for music and what he does.

At the moment, Nock is busy working away on new material and new videos for his YouTube channel, www.youtube.com/NockOfficial. It’s all being kept very hush hush at the moment, so when it does release we’re expecting great things.
