Zack Knight has decided to clear the confusion regarding why he has got his name changed from ZeeKay to Zack Knight, see the statement below sent from Zack.

I’ve been getting a lot of questions about my ‘Name Change’ so I thought I’d clear things a few things. Some of you may remember me as Zee Kay and some of you may not.

For those that do, the name Zee Kay is a brand associated to the production company I was working with previously. Hence, it was a legal requirement from my record label to separate the material I recorded then to the material I recorded now under the new outfit. This way the lines aren’t blurred and there are no issues regarding the ownership of my intellectual property rights.

I do really wanna thank the people that did support me in the past because if it wasn’t for you guys I wouldn’t be writing music and doing what I love best full time.

PS: Plenty of artists have changed or tweaked their names like J, Lo, P Diddy and Prince to name a few. - Zack Knight
