Botown Storm the charts with their debut single Roop Tera
Funky Bollywood soul band Botown are celebrating their double chart success after reaching #4 on the iTunes' World Music Chart and #10 on the BBC Asian Network's Asian Download Chart!
The single, taken from the band's forthcoming debut album The Soul of Bollywood, is a re-working of the SD Burman classic Roop Tera Mastana from the 1969 Bollywood classic Aradhana (Worship).
Founder and band front-man, Ajay Srivastava says on hearing the news: Hitting the top ten on both charts is an amazing feeling and it's just the beginning for Botown! We have our new album out soon and we're looking forward to performing to our fans around the country in the next couple of months.
