It's not often you get something for free but Urban Desi singer, Desi Boome has defied the rules by giving away his new single Assi Desi for free. Desi Boome is the first Punjabi rapper to hail from France so he's something different, providing audiences with something different – more depth than expected from your usual Bhangra track!

While the rap provides our ears with something we are more used to hearing today, its comforting to hear it on a traditional bhangra beat – nothing can beat the old school sound! It’s this mix that is appreciated by so many young Bhangra fans today. And of course the sound of the Dhol provides a forceful beat against such powerful  lyrics so all factors of the single work hand in hand – this is one that will definitely have you on the middle of the dancefloor busting your best Bhangra moves!

Translating as we are Desi, Assi Desi signifies the way in which Desi Boome feels how in France, there is unity between all Asian communities. Assi Desi adds to the rapper’s first single, Ik Vaar that went down well with fans. However, it seems he has stepped up to the mark, providing audiences with something bigger and better!

Rather than it being a mere act of kindess, it seems it’s because this track holds such strong meaning to him that he wants as many people to hear it as possible so spread the word and let as many people know about this free single!
