789 Crew was formed in January 2007, and are an East London based UK Hip-Hop/Grime/RnB/Garage crew put together by Khalid with the help of
M.Y.ZEE and YuN.

The name 789 doesn’t have a specific meaning but was chosen so that it could be remembered easily. It can be known as a sequence of numbers which can be seen everywhere from computer keyboards to mobile phones. This all reinforcing the name 789 into the persons mind.

Currently the crew are putting together a promo CD which will hit the streets very soon, and will feature all the current artists in 789. The promo CD will cover different genres and would appeal to a wider audience, not just to a certain crowd. 789 Crew are hoping to have the promo CD ready for early 2009.
