Panjabi Hit Squad announced recently via twitter the full line up of artists that will feature on their album World Famous. It was confirmed the line-up would include Harleen Akhter, Alyssia, Saini Surinder, Richa Sharma, Krishna, Jaspinder Narula and adding to that impressive list would be superstar Ustad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.

Dee, One half of Panjabi Hit Squad briefly spoke to BBC Radio 1 DJ Nihal on Tuesday night. He said: The song was co-written and produced by us and Rahat had been on our wish-list for some time. We sent him the song and he just loved it and recorded it straight away! He’s an amazing person.

With the current success of Miss Soniyeh hitting the number one spot on Sunrise Radio and top 5 in the iTunes world chart it seems that this album could turn out to be one of the hottest this year.

The video to Miss Soniyeh was filmed last week at A-List club Amika in London and will be available from Monday 5th September 2011.
