Khiza presents 'Dewaan' the Band

Dewaan is the brainchild of the melodically gifted trio which can be characterised as a sophisticated and unique peotic voyage into the world of musical ecstacy.

A companied with a blend of eastern classical and western orchestration reflected in the ragas, emotive voclas and wailing guitars, Dewaan is the new sound of British Asian music. The trio based in london comprises of Emanuel (the vocalist), Amir (on guitars) and Sukhi (on guitars) who individually prosper from their own unique musical background thus bringing together the best of both eastern and western music which gives Dewaan its distinct sound.

Emanuel the vocalist potrays his emotions, his feel and his divinity through his voice. Amir and Sukhi create the edge with their guitars. The trio write and make their own music and the track Kitney Khusiyan is a reflection of what is embedded with in them.

This group, is one that thinks out of the box, not your normal asian middle of the road tripe.Inspiring vocals, and tones of guitar playing in the line to be the next Gary Moore/Slash.
Dewaan are in a league of their own,imitators beware..
