British singer songwriter Nafees's debut single 'Mehmaan' gets over 20,000 hits in 24 hours!.

LONDON, October 13, 2011; Last night saw the world premiere of British singer and songwriter Nafees's video 'Mehmaan' on Desi-Box.com. The premiere of the single's music video was scheduled for 10:30pm; though Blackberry wasn't the only thing that faced an outage.

A huge number of traffic logging on for the world premiere caused the UK based website to crash. Some fans that were able to view the debut video before the site crashed managed to rip the video and began on a sharing spree on YouTube. Within the five hours there had been near to 5,000 hits viewing Nafees’s video ‘Mehmaan’.
 
Haroon, the CEO at Desi-Box.com said he was blown away by Nafees’s fan following and how it caused its website to crash.
 
We do have a large platform that caters for our audience and our networksare specifically designed to withstand huge spikes of traffic from the audience. Already the promotional video teaser for Nafees’s debut single ‘Mehmaan’ had fans clicking away awaiting the full video with 70,000 hits in 2 months alone. In just 3 months his free taster track ‘Teri Yadoon Mein’, had just over 96,000 hits on YouTube…without a video.
