Ok, so we UK based people celebrated Mothering Sunday last month, on April the 3rd 2011...BUT the Americans/Canadians are celebrating Mothering Sunday today, 8th May 2011. It’s slightly confusing but we know how those across the pond like to mix everything up a little... (Joke, joke! We don’t want to be starting any country wars now do we, as if there’s not enough wars in the world already!)

Either way, whichever continent you reside on, there’s always that difficult task of deciding what to buy for your lovely Mother on Mother’s Day. Usually a box of chocolates and a bunch of flowers will suffice, not forgetting to make her breakfast in the morning and promising to do all the household chores for that day... But this year, how about you do something different?

Listen carefully and it may just bring a tear to your eye (we’re not gonna lie... it made us cry!).

Parichay uses the word Maa as an acronym for ‘Mothers Are Awesome’, but the word Maa is wonderful in itself.
