MR & MISS AASHIQ TEES - available from 5TH NOVEMBER

From producing hit dancefloor anthems to collaborating with some of the biggest stars in UK Bhangra, Panjabi By Nature (PBN) has made an immense impact on the UK Asian music scene over the last few years and now the ‘Hit Maker’ turns his attention to fashion.

Having released the hugely successful ‘Homegrown’ album earlier this year, which featured ‘Aashiq’ the biggest Bhangra track of 2009, PBN aims to continue the success of the number one smash-hit into clothing.

The Bhangra producer has teamed up with online Desi tee and apparel company - Desi Rags to create and launch an exclusive range of ‘Aashiq’ t-shirts.

Speaking about the t-shirt line PBN says: “I really like what Desi Rags are doing and their designs which promote ‘desi-ness'. I thought it would be great to team up with them and put some of my creative energy into creating a t-shirt. I always had a really good feeling about ‘Aashiq’, but it surpassed my expectations when it exploded onto the scene. People singing it on the dance floors and the reaction to it made me think that Aashiq would make the perfect slogan for a t-shirt.”

Featuring the catchy lyrics “Har Koi Aashiq Hoyah Firdah” which, Panjabi superstar Miss Pooja had everyone singing along to this year; the trendy t-shirts will be exclusively produced and retailed by Desi Rags and will be available in both male and female versions from next week through www.desirags.co.uk .

Gurvinder Bassi, Creator/Proprietor, Desi Rags who helped design the range states: “We are really pleased and excited to be associated with Panjabi By Nature.
