Audiences across the world are in for a real treat as a new desi diva hits the Asian music scene!

With her quirky blue hair, ‘Gaga-esque’ style and powerful Bollywood inspired Hindi vocals, singer-songwriter, Syrene, is set to be a real game-changer for all female recording artists.

Her first track ‘Main Hoon Deewani’ by the feisty singer, is a catchy, high octane track with drums that rattle your bones and haunting vocals that you can’t get out of your system, guaranteeing that everyone who hears it will quickly become Syrene’s ‘deewana’!

This incredibly talented artist began her musical career at a young age, singing in shows with her father, a former semi-professional singer.  Drawing influences from legends such as the late great Mohammed Rafi, and the evergreen sounds of the two undisputed queens of playback, Lata Mangeshkar and Asha Bhosle, Syrene refined her sound making sure it was authentic, yet contemporary.

In 2011, Syrene approached renowned producer Shayal to bring her Bollywood influences up to date and together they created her first single ‘Main Hoon Deewani’, together crafting a super-cool video for the track.

Main Hoon Deewani is released on 12th July 2012 via iTunes.
