Akshay Kumar who is set to make a cameo appearance in Speedy Singhs, Akshay has donated Rs 2 crore to the Ice Hockey Association of India in attempt to promote the sport before the release of his latest home production.

The film which will be based on the sport of Ice Hockey is releasing on September the 23rd starring some random dude named Vinay Vermani, Los Angeles born American actress Camilla Belle, comedian Russell Peters and Bollywoods own Anupam Kher. Drake and Ludacris will also be making guest appearances.

The decision of donating such an amount was made by the Khiladi himself and the makers of Speedy Singh to encourage the sport within India. Hockey seems to be easy however banging on some ice skates and doing unintentional 360s before landing on your behind does not sound like fun. It is certainly not a sport for everyone. Maybe stunts on the ice was too much for Akshay to handle?
