Akshay Kumar is giving his voice for the Hindi version of the upcoming film Transformers: Dark of The Moon. He'll be giving the voice for Optimus Prime, one of the key characters from the film. What's more, he's doing it for free.

Says Akshay Kumar, I'm doing this film for free. The film is not a business deal for me. I consider myself very lucky to do this film.

He further went on to add, When Transformers 1 came, I saw the film because of my son. This is one of his favourite films. Optimus Prime has been his favourite character. When I was asked to give my voice for this film, I was very happy. A father always wants to be a superhero for his son. I got the opportunity to do so through Optimus Prime.

Transformers: Dark of The Moon is all set to release in 3D and 2D on 29th June in India.
