Highly impressed with Vidya Balan's performance in Paa and Ishqiya, Karan Johar is keen to have her in his next venture which is most probably, Dostana 2. The two gel very well not only professionally but also personally. Vidya’s new house is faced diagonally to Karan Johar’s office and both very often cross each other. Moreover, Vidya had dinner at Karan’s house at Union Park and spend four hours with Karan’s family.

Johar said “Vidya is a tremendously talented actress. My company, Dharma Productions, is very keen on working with her. But there is no film as yet.” Presently, he busy with the promotional event of Dharma productions latest release, ‘I Hate Luv Storys’ and soon work on ‘Dostana 2’. Speculation is ripe that he would cast talented Vidya Balan in his forthcoming venture.

Vidya is also full of praises for the director and wished to work with him, “Karan Johar is one of the wittiest people I have met. He had me in splits. No wonder, he writes beautifully”.
