It has been confirmed that the Madam Tussauds wax statute of Bollywood beauty Kareena Kapoor will be unveiled on the 27th October 2011 at Blackpool. The statue it self is reportedly be based on the traditional look she sported in her critically acclaimed film Chameli.

The statue originally was meant to be unveiled in early October however due to the sad passing of Saif Ali Khan’s father;  Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, she asked the museum to push back the date in respect to this in which they happily obliged.

Her statute will be part of the new global exhibition which will see her statute including that of Amitabh Bachchan, Hrithik Roshan, as well as Aishwarya Rai Bachchan visit six cities around the world. 

Kareena will also be in London on Tuesday 25th October 2011 for the premiere of the much anticipated Ra One.
