After reports that Race 2 was dealing with scheduling conflicts and delays it has now been reported that cast changes have also been confirmed. Sources have revealed that Sri Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez has now been roped in to play the role that Sonakshi Sinha was to essay after she had to pull out of the film.

Sonakshi reportedly dropped the film due to scheduling conflicts with Dabaang 2, after the film’s production unit changed it’s shooting schedule to accommodate Om Shanti Om starlet Deepika Padukone.

It was also confirmed this week that Jacqueline will not feature in Rakesh Roshan’s Krrish 2, however she will be gracing our screens in Housefull 2 and Raaz 3D next year.

The shooting schedule for Race 2 begins in the next few weeks with a release date of November  2012 in sight.
