Ranbir Kapoor will embark on his first-ever global concert tour next year. The Kapoor lad is going to hold concerts across US, Canada and Europe. The Morani brothers will be producing the concerts which are supposed to kick off in the US, pass through Canada and end in Europe. Ranbirs global tour will be on the move from June till the end of July 2011.

Yesteryear’s veteran actor Rishi Kapoor, Ranbir’s dad, confirmed the news and said that the plan of his son’s global concert trip has been outlined.

Giving out a few details of his venture, Ranbir said that he needed to have a collection of numbers to perform on stage before he set out on a world concert tour. Now, he has a few films to his credit and a list of hit chart busters to rock on the stage.

Priyanka Chopra and Katrina Kaif also have confirmed to join Ranbir on the tour.

Ranbir has been away from performing at Bollywood award functions – or any other public performances for that matter – for a while and needs to rehearse a lot to perfect his dancing skills!

Rishi himself has done some 300 such performances across the world in his times. He beamed with joy to see his actor son following his footsteps. Despite his health, Rishi is willing to join his son on the tour, though he is not sure how long and how far he would be traveling with Ranbir. However, he is determined to applaud with others at his son’s first global concert.
