Filmmaker Shaad Ali Sahgal, of Saathiya, Bunty Aur Babli and Jhoom Barabar Jhoom fame, is all set to start his next directorial venture titled Kill Dil. The film is about the tricks the heart plays on an unsuspecting victim and for the main lead, Shaad has finalized his good friend Ranveer Singh. Besides Ranveer, the film will also have another male lead and a female lead both of whom are yet to be finalized.

Post Kill Dil, Shaad also wants to make a film on the life and times of his grandmother Captain Lakshmi Sahgal (the legendary freedom fighter) who passed away recently.
