According to sources Asin will star in the Hindi remake of the Telugu hit Ready with Salman Khan to be directed by Anees Bazmee. As suggested by reports it was Salman Khan who recommended Asin for the venture. Friendship of Salman and Asin continues even after the failure of their London Dreams. The film will be produced by T-series.

Romantic comedy Ready (Telugu) starring Ram and Genelia in the lead roles was one of the highest grossing films of 2008. The film is also being remade in Tamil as Uthama Puthiran, starring Dhanush and Genelia. Bhushan Kumar of T-Series declined to disclose the casting but confirmed that the venture is on.
