Bone marrow saves life of those patients suffering from blood cancer, thalassemia, aplastic anemia, congenital immuno-deficiency states and other such blood related diseases. Do it for yourself. God forbids if you ever require bone marrow, then people who think like you will also donate bone marrow for you. So, it will be easy for you to find one said Khan.

Salman Khan said, Donating marrow is a simple act. But it can save the life of someone suffering from a blood-related disease. I am pledging my marrow today with MDRI so that in an emergency, if a patient's sample matches mine, I can be reached to donate my marrow. The more the donors, the more lives we save. So I urge that all of you donate your marrow, too

Salman's charitable foundation Being Human has also joined hands with the Marrow Donor Registry (India) to create awareness among the mass. The more the donors, the more lives we save.
