Sanjay Leela Bhansali is well known for beautiful music in all his films, alongside an incredible aesthetic sense, and creation of ambiance in Bollywood films, by using the likes of Oscar winner Resul Pookutty to design the soundscapes in previous ventures.

By turning music composer in this co production with UTV Motion Pictures, the much anticipated Guzaarish, he's causing quite a stir and building up an eager awaiting, for the release date of 17th November.

He dons 4 hats in this film, as director, co-producer, music director and writer, the first look of which just unveiled across the world to great appreciation. He also brings the exciting pairing of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Hrithik Roshan onto silver-screen, after their phenomenal cinematic chemistry in Dhoom 2 and Jodhaa Akbar.

An incredibly passionate filmmaker and a project so close to his heart in Guzaarish, he felt the nuances of the film which he understood as the script writer and director, could only be expressed into cinematic splendour by his own imagination of the music which paints an elegant and poignant tale of love between a quadriplegic and his unhappily married nurse.

Says Bhansali, who shrouds his movies in complete secrecy: I’ve done the music of the film as I felt the way I understood the characters of the film, the thought and feelings they might be going through, I would not be able to make a music director understand all that. The deep thought that would go into expressing what the characters felt musically, I knew that instinctively, hence, I decided to put the little knowledge I have about music to use.
