The eagerly anticipated release of the Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor film Bodyguard has been shrouded with mystery recently regarding the much talked about item song in the film.

However Desi-Box can reveal that Bollywood beauty Katrina Kaif has been confirmed for the 'item' song as well as Salman Khan’s personal bodyguard!

Salman Khan has shown his appreciation for his own bodyguard Shera by featuring him in the Soundtrack item song of the film. Not only will he been sharing screen time with the 'Sheila ki Jawani’ star Katrina Kaif but he will also be seen dancing and grooving alongside the 'Dabangg' star himself.

This is the first time a superstar has ever done something like this and given his bodyguard his due.

Shera confirms Yes, I have shot for the song with Salman Bhai and all this seems like a magic. Salman bhai is such a huge star and for someone like him showing such trust in me is nothing short of a miracle. In front of the whole world, he said that this is my most trusted man. Isn't that great?

Shera also got the chance to be taught some dance moves for the song by Salman himself. Although he was apprehensive Shera made sure he put in a lot of rehearsal time before the final take.

Shera is known to be very close to the Khan family and highly respects each and every person connected to them. He has even gone on record to state that he would never break Salman’s trust by writing a book about the Bollywood superstar.

Bodyguard is releasing nationwide on 31st August 2011.
