Shilpa Shetty is back in London town; after her win in the Big Brother house in 2007 winning over 63% of the votes she won the hearts of millions. She became a rand name throughout Britain.

Post the Big Brother success, Shetty received plenty of attention. She attended a reception at the House of Commons to meet with the now former Prime Minster Tony Blair and was also
invited to meet with the Queen later that year.

In 2009 Shilpa Shetty married successful British-based businessman Raj Kundra. Shetty now has a base in India as well as the UK.

Shilpa Shetty is back into the homes of Britain, but this time through her range of authentic Indian vegetarian meals Shilpa’s Gourmet Creations!

The Bollywood Diva has joined forces with culinary mastermind Chef Andy Varma Chairman of V8 Gourmet Group to recreate some of her grandmother’s favorite recipes to prove to that eating healthy does not have to mean eating bland.

Shilpa launched the range in person at Holland & Barrett’s Camden store on Tuesday (February 8th) The range includes 5 mouthwatering dishes, including Mushroom Korma, Vegetable Masala,
and everyone’s preferred, Onion Bhaji.

Shilpa’s Gourmet Creations are brought to the shelves to reflect the star’s own eating habits, which stress a combination of healthiness and deliciousness.

Shilpa who has also launched a Yoga DVD (Shilpa’s Yoga) reflects how important diet and exercise is for her. 

Shilpa said: Vegetables are a vital source of vitamins and minerals, but vegetarian doesn’t have to mean bland and rubbery food. Indian vegetarian never compromises on flavour and proves that eating healthy can also be tasty!

Shetty also commented that she is proud to launch Shilpa’s Gourmet Creations with Holland & Barrett, Britain’s leading health food retailer.
