Uday Chopra may not qualify as one of the biggest superstars in the country, but all said and done, he did manage to cut out a niche for himself. The younger son of the legendary filmmaker Yash Chopra started his career with the superhit film Mohabbatein and though he didn't manage to strike gold with all his films at the Box Office, he delivered hits like Dhoom and Dhoom 2. The actor who is now all set to feature in Dhoom 3, however, has announced his retirement from acting.

Uday tweeted "Ok confession time...Dhoom 3 is my swan song...my last film...no I'm not giving up acting...quite the opposite, acting is giving up on me!"

Uday will be seen in Dhoom 3 along with Aamir Khan and Abhishek Bachchan.
