Zarine Khan, who made her debut opposite Salman Khan in Veer, recently underwent a surgery for appendicitis.

After doing the item number Character Dheela in Ready, Sajid Nadiadwala offered Zarine a role opposite Riteish Deshmukh in his magnum opus venture Housefull 2. Zarine was on cloud nine after being offered a role in such a big budget film. But just as she started shooting for the film she was diagnosed with appendicitis. Appendicitis is a condition characterized by inflammation of the appendix.

Zarine started shooting for Housefull 2 a couple of weeks ago. While she was shooting for one of her sequences in the film at Filmistan, she seemed to be in a great deal of discomfort and complained of severe stomach pain during the shoot. When the pain became unbearable, she was immediately rushed to the hospital where she was diagnosed with appendicitis and advised immediate surgery.

The shooting schedule of Housefull 2 did get disrupted due to her surgery but the rest of the cast immediately agreed to accommodate the changes in schedule as they are very fond of Zarine and were very concerned about her health.
