A real life romantic love story with contemporary puppets from the stars of BAFTA nominated Channel 4s The Family.
Real-Life Loved up couple Jeet & Kaki have a romantic treat planned for their fans with their next theatre production; Obviously You Are Pregnant & You look Fat.

The theatre production follows the real-life relationship between Jeet and Kaki right from the start of their relationship with their first encounter which took place in Mumbai, India - to them starting a new life together in the UK, setting up their successful theatre company and the birth of both their adorable two children.

The Stage Performance travels through their up’s and downs and the momentum moments of the birth of their princess daughter Bhavika and even their real-life turmoil when Kaki is rushed into ICU during her second pregnancy when she gave birth to their miracle child Karan. Kaki is fighting for her son’s life whilst her own is uncertain leaving her husband Jeet distraught with worry.

The play reminisces some of the happiest and challenging moments. We see the challenges that even the most loved-up couples can go through in married life. The play is a story of family unity and commitment with love, pain, tears, sacrifice and loads of laughter.

The title of the play Obviously You Are Pregnant & You look Fat comes from the infamous one-liner Jeets comes out with quite abruptly yet innocently in the reality TV show The Family when wife Kaki asks him if she looks fat.

Jeet & Kaki became household names when they hit UK TV screens earlier this year on the Channel  4 reality show. Jeet has since seen musical success with his track Zara Bachke and is now set to impress their  fans with more acting in this new play. The theatre production will also see wife Kaki making her debut in acting as she stars in the play too. This is a first for the shy TV celebrity.

The play will also feature an exclusive soundtrack sung by Jeet.

Obviously You Are Pregnant & You look Fat will go on the stage from September onwards, taking the road for its tour on Thursday 16th September at Waterman’s Theatre in Brentford, London and then moving up towards the Midlands in Birmingham at the Drum from the 25th September. The production will then move back down to London in Hounslow.
