The first ever Official Asian Music Charts is due to launch in May called AsianMusicCharts.com

It has been a long time coming and now for the first time the flourishing Asian Music Scene  has its own website promoting Asian Music and the first ever Official Asian Music Charts.

Over 2 years in development the Asian Music Charts can now compete and deliver on the same level as other music genre, giving the Asian community and the Asian Music Scene a much needed avenue to appreciate the contribution that Asian Music is making in the UK and around the world.

AsianMusicCharts.com runs in partnership with the Official Charts Company who already compile all other music charts for the UK and have now acknowledged that the Asian Music Scene has reached a stage in its development where it needs and requires a chart dedicated to Asian Music.

This is a massive step forward for Asian Music which can now give the wider community a better insight in to what has been going on right under their noses, with break through acts like Jay Sean leading the way, there are so many more artists and performers who will now have the opportunity to showcase their talents and be appreciated for the diversity and range of different sounds coming out of the Asian Music Scene

We know this is the first step, happening first in the UK but will surely prove to be a significant change on the face of the global music industry.
