Desi-Box caught up the rising star Mumzy Stranger, we met up with Mumzy at Nihal's Desi Live Event hosted and curated by Nihal from BBC Radio 1 and BBC Asian Network, this event marked the first time three of the biggest names in UK Bhangra - H-Dhami, Jaz Dhami and Juggy D - performed together on one stage with a full live band. The concept of Desi Live is to showcase the raw power and soul of Punjabi folk music.
