Having been a successful TV Extra/Model for a number of years on popular televison programmes...including Coronation Street, Emmerdale, Hollyoaks, The Bill, Holby City, Casualty, etc. Rashad has decided to go back to the thing he wanted to do when he left high school! arkaye is the brainchild project of Keighley lyricist/singer Rashad Khan.


A keen music enthusiast and highly pop inflenced individual, has been penning material for several years,dreaming of making a mark on commercial pop market. arkaye has a unique unorthodox writing method, mixed with a natural ear for melody and enjoys working with gifted producers/songwriters. arkaye is overcoming all objections and obstucles to create his long overdue EP. arkaye doesnt play any instruments or read music but has worked with many musicians and multi-instrumentalist to create his own cocktail of what he calls 'New Pop'. In January 2006,arkaye worked with euphoric underground producer Riz Rana, fusing indian beats and cold cut vibes and recorded 'Moved On'.
