Anu Shukla’s musical journey started from the age of 12 in Nairobi (Kenya) after which she moved to England where she won the best female singers award for the "All UK Hindi singers competition".

In 1994 she was invited by the world famous band DISSIDENTEN from Germany (who won the award for the highest sales of the world music CD "JUNGLE BOOK" in U.S.). She traveled with them to major parts of Germany, Austria and Spain to perform 'JUNGLE BOOK' which is fusion of Indian and jazz music.

Anu's melodious, soulful voice has touched audiences worldwide. Her most memorable performances include performing in Mumbai (India) where she performed alongside Bali Bhrambhatt and Malkit Singh to an audience of 60,000. She was invited to perform for the Royal Family, Universal Pictures, Louis Vuitton and to collaborate with Bill Bailey, Ginuwine and many others of this caliber.

Recently Anu performed live with Legendary Bollywood music director Pandit Ravindra Jain who has also composed a track for her forthcoming debut album

Anu has worked in studio and live for artists such as Sukhbir Singh, Channi Singh, Mona Singh, Heera, Kuljit Bhamra and many others. She has sung on various other smashing albums such as 'Love Express’,’ Moving Out' and many more. She has also done playback for famous plays like 'MAA' and has made many TV appearances e.g. BBC, Zee TV, Asianet etc.

Anu is currently working on her long awaited debut album.
