Over many years, Mitz has overcome many obstacles and has developed such a diverse range of productions and remixes, originally known as DJ Mitz, he has come from an Instrumentalist (who played; Piano, Saxophone, Clarinet, Tabla, Dhol, Dholki, Drums, Congo’s) into a Experimental Musician, Producer, DJ, Song Writer, and eventually a Singer.
With the release of his first Mixtape in 2003 as a DJ, he formed a huge reputation throughout the East of London especially as it featured an ear attracting Remix Called “Ah ni kuriyeh Vs Eskimo”. With that reputation in hand, he was inspired and felt the need to do so much more, he soon used his DJ’ing skills and his Producing skills, creating refixes, remakes and bootlegs using these skills he had created the remix “Icebox (UnKnown Riddem)”
In 2007, Mitz began to invest on his very own studio, and soon began producing for MC’s / Rappers from East London; such as BlazeMan, Dynam, Soulja and S.S.P from South London. With the experimental abilities, he was able to make a complete wider and much different view to vocal recording.
In 2008 Mitz began reciting his past song writing abilities. With a bit of free time on his hands, and such recording equipment, Mitz gave singing a try, bringing all of his skills together, he produced, and recorded “Don’t Break My Heart (Wada Na Tod)” which was recently featured on a Vote based Competition on Club Asia #1 Radio Station for London called Smack Down On Mr Kay’s Show, winning 4 Weeks in a row, Mitz was Convinced he can boost his reputation, and publicise his material throughout London.
